American Idol contestant Gina Glocksen will get married to high school science teacher Joe Ruzicka with Haley Scarnato and Jordin Sparks as bridesmaids. He’s 32, she’s 24, and been dating since 2005, engaged summer of 2007. Congrats!
Gina Glocksen married Joe Ruzicka on New Year’s Eve. Glocksen, 24, exchanged wedding vows with Ruzicka, 32, a teacher. The wedding ceremony was a non-denominational one at the Century Memorial Chapel at Napar Settlement in Naperville.
Glocksen was a top 10 finalist in American Idol, Season 6. Glocksen has maintained good ties with her fellow contestants Haley Scarnato and Jordin Sparks. Scarnato and Sparks were Glocksen’s bridesmaids. Glocksen met Ruzicka when she auditioned to sing in his band in 2005. Glocksen succeeded. Glocksen went on to compete in American Idol season six in 2007. Ruzicka made his marriage proposal in front of a live studio audience on Aug. 7, 2007, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.
As her fans learned from American Idol, Gina Glocksen’s Heart is definitely in the right place.
According to the New York Post, Idol champ Jordin Sparks and also-ran Haley Scarnato will serve as bridesmaids—and provide some of the vocal entertainment, along with Ruzicka's band.
